The Oahu North Shore Shark Adventure is a true adventure. You will travel 3 1/2 miles out into the ocean where we place the shark cage into the water. You hop in the cage with a mask and snorkel, and then the sharks pay you a visit, up close and personal.

This tour includes round-trip transportation from Waikiki. The water is a cobalt blue and visibility is approximately 200 feet or more. You can actually see the sharks come up from the deep. It is an amazing experience!

Summary:

There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy:

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

You will be on a 26-foot Anderson boat with a swim step on the transom of the boat. A safety briefing is given at the start of your tour. You may bring your own mask and snorkel, however, fins are not necessary. Masks and snorkels are also provided on the boat.

Once you get to the area, the shark cage is placed in the water. The cage floats on the surface of the water. The water is a cobalt blue and visibility is approximately 200 feet or more. You can actually see the sharks come up from the deep.

While on this tour, you will have the opportunity to also see Hawaiian Green Sea turtles, dolphins and humpback whales, depending on the season.

The cage itself, can hold two people very comfortably, however, there has been up to four people in it at a time, depending on the weather conditions. You will travel offshore of Haleiwa approximately 3 to 4 miles. You are encouraged to bring underwater cameras because you will be able to get some of the best photographs of Hawaiian sharks possible anywhere.

The size of the sharks range from 5 feet to 15 feet. These sharks will be only inches away from the cage and those inside. You may stay as long as you want in the cage to enjoy the spectacular view.

People from around the World, including England, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and from almost every State in the mainland have enjoyed the tour. Some of the people that come on the tour have not even been in the ocean before. A lot of people come with phobia about sharks. After our tour, their inhibitions and phobias disappear, and they have a greater respect for the shark and its beauty.
